Travel Info What is the difference between london and new york ? Travel Tips The single biggest difference for me would be people. New Yorkers are a very nice group, but living in New York makes them very aggressive in public. The British still carry an air of politeness. Also London struck me as a cleaner city than New York. It lacks the really dangerous sections like Alphabet City or the South Bronx. Albeit London does have places that are not recommended. London is more costly than New York.
