I travel to London from the US about six times a year on business. It's expensive and unnecessary to get English money in the US before your trip. ATM machines are very plentiful, and you'll almost always get a better rate than exchanging the money here. I'd wait until you get there and then withdraw money from a machine. Londoners are very polite about leaving plenty of room behind the person at the ATM machine, which is nice to know for security purposes. |
