What are best buys? think stuff they can't get back home, or beautifully packaged food like jam, biscuits, christmas pudding - head to Marks and Spencer for an excellent selection. Make sure the packaging can withstand luggage handlers in airports... If they like music or books, get the UK edition: usually the artwork is different, or there's added bonus tracks. I have a friend who is a car nut, and I get him miniature versions of our dinky little European cars: he loves them. And if you really aren't feeling inspired, there's always teeshirts... |
