Cahors is the capital city of the departement of "Lot" ( departement is what we call our different states in france).
Cahors ( and the lot ) is located in the "Midi Pyreene" region and is well known for its wine and its the Valentre bridge.
its a very nice place to go to,specialy all the traditional country side around.I was born there and live there almost all my life so i guess i'm a little bit of a specialist concerning this city.
