What's the best time of year to go to Italy? |
Travel Info What's the best time of year to go to Italy? Travel Tips I live in Italy, If you go any place below Rome, I.e Naples, Sicily, or Reggio Calabria stay away from July-August its well over 100 degrees in Sicily. April-june and September to November are the nicest times of the year. December through March its cold, like freezing at night, even in Sicily. For anything north of Rome summer months are ideal. October- march its getting colder, while April-may it rains A LOT! June - September is ideal, but its also the most expensive time. If your coming to go skiing, then you will be in the north. Mt Etna (Sicily is terrible for skiing) So Jan-Feb is ideal. |
