This all depends on how much time you have to work with. If you have a lot of time and are flexible, the train may be a great way to see Europe at leisure. It is on the long end and may be a tad on the expensive side. However, if you have less time to work with and don't really care for what's in between Antwerp and Barcelona, the plane is the best.
