Travel Info I am a US citizen and have lived in Germany and Switzerland through school programs. I would like to work there, but wonder if there are specific programs that could help. Travel Tips There is the BUNAC program for US citizens to work in Britain, Ireland, etc. (not Germany or Scandanavia). You have be a student and under a certain age. Check out the link below. If you don't fall into that category, then defintely try the au pair route, if you like children. There are tons of websites that help match au pairs with families.
