That's kind of a tough one. Wetzlar in itself is nice, has a beautiful dome which you must see. The Centrum is work a 1/2 day, but then it's time to move on. Maybe a day trip to Giessen which is a nice college town.

Take the train into Frankfurt (maybe 50 min.) and do some sightseeing there. Lots of museums and plenty of sources of Info on the web.
