Travel Info Going to the Bahamas aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship: Sensation! Im so excited, but I dont know anythieng about going on a cruise or the Bahamas! It's my first time! Anyone have any stories to share? Advise? What do you do when you get to the bahamas? What to do on the ship? THANKS! Travel Tips I took a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas and loved it so much I've gone on more cruises and I also went to the Bahamas directly. I sugest going to Paradise Island and stopping at the famous Atlantis hotel and resort. It is absolutely gorgeous. If you like clubs, there was a club I went to -- I think it was called 2-4-6 or something like that. It was definitely 3 numbers. If the cruise is staying overnight, try to go there for great music and dancing. The Baja Men (Who Let the Dogs Out) got there start as locals there. Go to market for great bargaining. The Cruise line will help you. I also went snorkeling in the Bahamas-- if you are going on the 7 day that includes Grand Cayman, they have a beautiful snorkeling tour. Make sure you ask the cruise line which taxi company they recommend you take. Have fun! Others go to paradise island, and do alot of shopping. Go to this website www.bahamas.com. |
