When do airlines typically lower their rates each year?

I fly Baltimore to Belfast to see my children, but the rates don't seem to be dropping for any dates throughout the year that i choose. Obviously, I would like lower rates to be able to travel more often. Do airlines lower the rates seasonally? Last year the rate went up on December 15. Does anyone know a timeframe?
