Catholics, supposedly in various studies, were able to easily pick out Protestants in line-ups by their physical features alone, and the same studies were equally conclusive vice versa. For instance, Catholics felt Protestants were, as a rule, blonder, paler skinned, taller but more youthful in their appearance with rouder, softer facial features. While Protestants saw Catholics as possesing usually darker hair and complexions with sharper, more angular facial features. Does any of this seem to make sense? |
