Travel Tips It's because of Pentecost/Whitsun/Pfingsten, a religious holiday that remembers the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the apostles. Others no idea It's a religious holiday called : "Pfingsten". On Sunday & Monday its because of the 60th anniversary of the accession of the king some random day/half day holiday. they have roughly one every two weeks in germany. not that i am complaining....day off work YAY! Being realistic, it could be for anything. Germans will take a holiday for any reason. |
