Which of Bermuda's beaches is the best for snorkeling? |
Travel Info I am going to Bermuda this summer in mid-August and I am a big snorkeler. Of course, I need to find out where the best beaches to snorkel are around the island....any personal recommendations or referals to guides would be very helpful. Travel Tips That would be Tobacco Bay near the town of St George. Its about a half mile walk from the town of St George. Go to this site: http://www.bermuda-online.org/beaches.ht... Others I feel that Chaplin Bay is better. The only problem is you must have your own gear. It is the best beach to see fish, coral and many sea living creatures. This beach is rocky so there are many sea inhabitants. Tobacco Bay... hands down. However, note that you must walk toward the rocky shoals toward the back of the parking lot, then climb down into the water in order to really experience the beauty of the water. |
