Things to do in birmingham? |
Travel Info going to birmingham, what are some things you guys recommend? Travel Tips You could go to the National Sealife Centre, in Brindley Place, or you could visit Think Tank (I'm not sure where it is though, it's definitely in Brum). You could visit Cadbury World, in Bourneville (Home of English chocolate). You could go shopping in the Bull Ring, or visit the new look Selfridges. There's lots to do in Birmingham, I've been there quite a bit. You could do a Yahoo search on 'places to go in Birmingham, England'. Have a nice time! :D Others turn around and walk fast Change your plans and go somewhere interesting, pleasant and clean instead. SHOOT YOURSELF QUICK Run all the way through, don't stop for anything! Just keep going... Yup I agree wiv nomiepanda, goto Cadbury world, yummy!! you can get some free chocolate, well when I last went you could :) And unless it's been built on, there's a little park not far away from the factory so you could maybe take a picnic :) Have fun. why are people so nasty. Brum is ok if you know the right places. If you like shopping you could go to the Bullring and there's the Pallisades at New Street Station(I think it's New Street, might be the other one) There are loads of other cool shops. There's a Lego shop in the Bullring and there's a Disney store but I can't remember where that is. If you want to see sights, there is the canal, there are a few canalside pubs. They are great, all traditional, sticky floors included. There's Walkabout which is an Australian themed pub where you can get Ozzy beer and strange food like kangaroo steaks and croc burgers.(they ahve normal food too). Then there's the Think Tank, Cadbury World, Bourneville village. If you want to go to a quieter bit you could go on the Metro. It's like a tram. It goes to a few different places around Birmingham. There's not much in most of the places but you might find something, depends what you like. There's also Iron Bridge, I think that's the place, where there are lots of different museums. You should be able to get one ticket which admits you to all of them and you can use for 2 or 3 different days. There's an old fashion train near the market which is nice to look at. I think it goes somewhere but only like every few hours. There's the market if you like that sort of thing. Near the market, there are these really cool shops called Orphan Annie and Oasis. And there is a chinese supermarket. Hope that helps a bit. OOh I just remembered, there's also the "Birmingham Wheel" like a smaller version of the London Eye and there's the Mailbox where the BBC lives. You can go to the studio and the shop. There are other expensive shops in there too and a sushi bar and a few posh restaurants and cafe bars. |
