Travel Info Is Moseley a nice area to live in. If not, where would you recommend near the University of Birmingham, Edgbas Travel Tips I live in Moseley. It is very nice, leafy and peaceful. Lots of "trendy" bars and restaurants. I wouldn't recommend you move to Moseley as a student tho. It is a lot more expensive to rent there and there are no direct transprt links to the campus. I used to live in Selly Oak when I was a uni, So of it is a bit scummy but if you look in the areas that are just that little bit further from the campus then you can find some nice houses. Try Oak tree Lane Area or Warwards Lane. Source(s): Me Other Travel Tips Used to have a friend who lived in Moseley, Birmingham - seemed a nice enough area although I only went there a couple of times. You really need a second opinion to be sure. Edgbaston is nice, however, a lot of areas in Birmingham have their nice areas and there bad areas. The best thing to do is visit the place during the day and at night, etc. I live in Birmingham. Harborne if you study at the Medical school or have a bit more money to spend. Other than that, Selly Oak is the area where most students live. Though it certainly isn't nice. I live in Selly Oak |
