Travel Tips Unfortunately yes but you could tell them that you got tickets to somewhere else that isn't very fun like Iraq just kidding, but somewhere not so fun like like oh I can't think of anywhere but you know your family you can come up with something like backpacking threw the jungle for 2 weeks with bugs etc (see I would like that) Anyways they do have to be there because there is a signature required and it has to be in the presense of the goverment agency in your area that handles the shipping of the passport info. Also if you have children under 18 then both parents have to sign it. Also you have to get passport photos taken and they have to be there for that as well. Good luck and have fun in Paris. It is pretty awesome there except the only people that will speak English to you are people from other countries. The locals seem to take offense to people that only speak English. Others Yes, they will have to open their eyes for the photographs. Yes, because they'll have to complete and sign the application forms. mmmm, you might have a bit if difficulty when it comes to signing the passport application form! common sense. That's a nice thing to do! Yes they have to know because they have to sign their passport applications. They'll also need passport photos. Really it's best that they fill in their own applications. But you could just say that you are thinking maybe of a holiday next year or something - you don't need to tell them about Paris! yes and no. yes they will need to know why you are askign them to get passports but to keep the surprise more surpiring, u do not have to tell them where u are taking them, you can always say that since the terrorist attacked in 2001, it would be a good idea to have the passports updated for security reasons. |
