From Boston & New England's biggest postal facility to a suburban area in Italy, it takes 1 week, UK probably less time. Of course, I 'm not talking about Holiday season. depending on what state you mailed it from it can take anywhere from 5 days up to 5 months. im waiting for a package that my mother sent me from floriday (mailed in may of this year) and its still not here yet! Usually it will take about a week to get here from the US and vise versa. I used to write years ago to penpals in the states where we would exchange letters and parcels. It was the airmail from UK to States around a week. That was until this the Internet burst Now i just email. That takes from click of mouse to send mail from here in UK to USA >>>>1 second. There is no "first class" mail service from the USA to the U.k, there is "Priority airmail" service and that takes from 3 to 5 days and costs about 60 Cents. |
