Sealife centre birmingham?

Has anyone been to the sealife centre that could give me any pointers about the visit? ive never been and im taking my niece next week, any information from someone thats actually been would be great as all the info on the internet is much the same.

Yes, I have. It's amazing. The exhibits are not like a normal aquarium. There are wide, vertical glass tubes containing seahorses, waterfalls with fish, a ray pool at waist height - the rays either hide in the sand with their eyes poking out or come to the edge of the pool and look at you!

The most exciting thing is when you go down in the lift and it says 'You are Now Going Under The Ocean.' You get out and walk through a huge tube of armoured glass about 6 feet thick, and above you and around you are sharks and all sorts! It blows your mind. Don't miss it.

If you go to the Bullring centre you can see pond life for free, and you are allowed to feed them too.

Hi. Its a really fun place, especially for children. Theres lots of different marine life & just next door to it is Brindley Place. Thats were all the wine bars & restaurants are, so if you get bored give me a shout & we'll have a drink together!...
I don't know what you want to know, but I'd say, just let your niece go at her speed as different things will interest you and her.
It's a few years since I've been, but it should be a great experience and will fill a few hours. If the weather's nice, have a walk down the canal to the Mailbox after, and treat yourselves to a nice lunch (bit pricey but good quality restaurants).
Yep!kids love it, my two are 7 and 2. There is something for all ages, and when youve gone roung make time for the soft play area and a drink.

me and my wonderful girlfriend have been, separately before we met. she hated it but i really liked it.she hasn't actually been though. she's not the brightest but she's very pretty so it makes up for her density.
