Travel Tips If you are travelling in rush hour its a must, there are so many roadworks on the M6 at the mo its a carpark.. have used it so many times its an absolute godsend.. it can know as much as an hour or more off your trip at that time of day, people complain and say they refuse to pay, well thats up to them.. but if you work out how much petrol you use whilst sitting in a 5 mile tailback, and how much your time is worth to you... is 2.50 really so expensive.. I think not... the road is a motorists dream and I wish there were a few more.. Others Well worth using anytime between 07.30 to 09.20 and 15.45 to 19.00 it saves about 45 mins usually but I've been stuck on M6 for 7 hours before, my advice invest your 3.75 or whatever saves time All according how big the queue is at the toll gate. could get longer. tax it if it moves.
