Travel Info Does anyone know of any nice downtown areas in MA/RI? (good for shopping/food)? Travel Tips Downtown Providence RI is good, they have the new mall, and close by is the Emerald Square Mall in Attleboro MA. You can also go to Federal Hill for some great food. Others Providence, RI (if you are in the east) or Northampton, MA (if you are in the west) In Massachusetts, check out Northampton (just north of Springfield in Western Mass). Of course, there's also Boston. Salem, north of Boston, is less crowded. In RI, also check out Newport. Although you didn't ask about Connecticut, New Haven is a nice college town (Yale) with shopping/food. |
