Travel Tips I am from the Sunshine Coast which is an hour north from the Goldie and personally much more cruise and ideal for a wedding. Depending on what sort of wedding you want, there are a lot of quiet outdoor settings that many of my friends have been hitched. The beaches don't have the crowds that the Gold Coast does, the parks are more isolated but also easily accessible to reception areas and many locations for the reception can vary from layed back surf clubs on the beach to a few hotels I personally know that can cater a great wedding Others on any beautiful beach of your choice! and then board a windsurf and sail away I'm from Aussie, I'd say Cairns! that is where I am from.
