I've never been there, but I have 3 books about it, in hopes to visit there someday. Lake Louise looks fantastic...and there's a nice ski lodge at Banff that looks like fun at any time of the year. Since I used to have and ride horses, the Stampede in July would be fun to see...and you could go on guided hiking and camping trips, too. I think it's so beautiful! (and I haven't even been there - can you take me along???)

I currently live in Calgary, and there is so much to do here! If you can come during the Stampede you will be glad you did, but you need to make rservations now for that.

Canadian Rockies are just outside of the city and are one of the most beautiful places I haver ever visited. Banff, Jasper, Lake Peyto, Lake Louise .. just driving between Banff and Jasper is awesome ...
Banff is pretty nice but gets repetitive after a while.
