Travel Tips You can definitely take Sterling with you to Cuba, we were there in April this year, we stayed at Cayo Coco and our hotel like most of the ones their had a little bank were you changed your sterling for Cuban Pesos and you don't get ripped off either, our hotel also accepted MasterCard and Visa card too, we didn't spend a fortune either as everything is so cheap there, the people are fantastic in Cuba and will do anything for you, have a brilliant time and enjoy every minuet cause I am sure like me you will wish you were back there as soon as you get home, its amazing. Others Dollars mate enjoy your holiday. Take Euros. Dollars are not permitted. Dollars dollars (at least you NEEDED dollars when i was there) please also visit Habana (its not far& a great city) Cuba uses a cuban peso. Since the usa is banned from traveling to cuba, not sure they have as many places that do USD to cuban pesos. Might want to see if you can exchange it before you go or call your hotel. Take food. |
