Travel Tips
Oh let me tell you about the Caribbean. First of all I will tell you about the weather. It is breezy and warm. The nights are slightly cool. Their people are friendly and fun. The beaches are sandy white and the oceans are so blue and clear. The music is happy and your hips cant help but to move. Them women are beautiful, the men have dark skin that shows pride of the land, the children laugh in the streets.. The sun burns your back but the warm rains helps to cool your skin. The food is delicious..you can eat spicy food and try different styles of dishes. The fruits are incredible, from mango, papaya, pineapple, guanabana..how do I know this..i am from the Caribbean..Cuba is my home..

Others
The food tends toward hot and sweet ex. - jerk chicken. Lifestyle there is more laid back. I think Fodors travel books or an internet search on Caribbean culture would do the trick for you.
I don't understand exactly what you mean by style, but I can tell you some stuff I guess. I'm from cartagena Colombia, the sea that touches our coast is caribbean sea. The sea is warm and NOT cold like seas from other parts of the world. Everyone here is usually in a good humour, and everyone is open to talking with strangers, you could be on a bus and people talk to you or ask you questions like they've known you all of their lives.

If you mean style like in a dress code, it's pretty simple, shorts, bermudas, skirts and mini skirts, sleeveless shirts and t-shirts; pretty much anything that is fresh (due to the climate) Cartagena is very humid and "winter" to us just means that it rains often. (25陋C) is as low as it goes here.
In a working enviroment everyone wears long pants and button shirts but the colour palette is bright vivid colours, like pinks, yellow, green, blue, white...
The most common genre of music is Vallenato which music accompanied by an accordion drumms, maracas, wacharaca and sometimes gaitas (they're like long flutes made out of cactus) there's a female and a male gaita the male has three holes one in the back and two in the front and the female has 5 holes two 4 in the front and one in the back.

Cartagena's traditional dish is fried fish, white rice and patacon which is green banana (I think that's what they call it)

Well I don't know if that's what you need to know, if you want a more specific answer then you'll have to be (pardon the redundance) more specific...
well the life style is laid back and you can wear what you want really expect Antigua where you can't wear army patterned clothes and i don't know about the rest reall. each island building styles is different as some have had different exposure to different cultures e.g Montserrat is the only island in the Caribbean to celebrate st Patrick's day i would know i was born there. some islands might speak Dutch, Spanish broken English, french or a mixture of one with another. different foods like some people from the Caribbean might of never eaten ackee and salt-fish together like me cause it's a Jamaican dish and I'm not Jamaican but I've eaten salt-fish that not really a Jamaican thing. visit the smaller island and go to many different one and find out about the history and you will see just how different each island can be from the other but that's all i can think of now. you should really go to the Caribbean, especially carnival time around July, august and September.
