Are there reg. flights from havana cuba to miami return.?

Travel Info
I am canadian and have proper documentation. I'm looking to go in feb./07 for 1wk. I would consider other mean other than flying if available.

Travel Tips
There are direct flights from New York/JFK, Miami International Airport, and Los Angeles (LAX). If you prefer you may also travel through a third country; often the price or flight schedule is convenient. Some of the most common routes are through Mexico, the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Canada

If you are planning to leave from and/or reenter the United States, regardless of citizenship, residency, or immigration status, or point of departure from Cuba, you must travel under one of the categories of people permitted to travel to Cuba.

Travel to Cuba is severely restricted under the Cuban Assets Control Regulations (the 鈥淩egulations鈥? promulgated under The Trading With The Enemy Act. Under these Regulations, spending money relating to Cuban travel is prohibited unless the traveler is licensed. The restrictions include spending money (in any currency) whether travelers go directly to Cuba or via a
third country and providing services of any kind to Cuba or a Cuban national. Any foreign person in the United States, is subject to these restrictions while physically present in the United States. Source(s): OFFICE OF FOREIGN ASSETS CONTROL

Other Travel Tips
Under the US trade embargo against Cuba, no airline may fly directly from the US to Cuba.

As a Canadian, there are flights from Montreal to Cuba that you could take advantage of. Also, if you're going to be in Miami, I suggest you fly to Cancun where you can catch a flight to Cuba.

Have fun and DON'T bring back any cigars - very expensive fine!
