I'm from Canada and the outlets are different - my converter made my straightener die. Prepare for the frizzies.......

Hi Jamie, I just bought a converter from Canadian Tire and it's only $20.00. In Cuba, certain part uses 110V and other part uses 220V. Weird but good luck.

You will need by buy a converter or you will probably ruin your flat iron.
Normal UK electrical plugs will not fit in Cuba. An adapter is required, available at supermarkets etc. Normally adapter's do not alter the available supply [voltage, amperage etc].The voltage in the UK is 220v and in Cuba 110v. I would expect the hairstraigthner [a heating appliance to work OK but take longer to heat up than in the UK check the information with the appliance]
It would be advisable to check this, I am not an electrical engineer.
Yea, they have American-type outlets there, if I remember correctly.
You will need an adapter...why not just relax and let your hair have a vacation, too?
