I always wondered,is it legal for an American to visit Cuba? |
Travel Info I know that Cuba and the United States has not, seen eye to eye for many years,it's just that I have read many interesting things about Cuba.I know that it is a communist country, and many things can happen in a nation where the majority of people are Mulatto,which makes it interesting.Color in countries like Cuba,Santo Domingo(now Dominican Republic)and Puerto Rico does not really matter,political status matters more to these people,rather than ethnicity/race.People in Cuba are use to mixing with in the races for centuries,which is something America is just starting to get use to. Travel Tips We actually have a Navy Base on the East Shore of Cuba. Many people go there, because of the excellent Hospitals. Other Travel Tips its a crime to even ask that question i think so as far as I know it is leagle to visit the country of Cuba. You cannot however fly directly to the country you have to go via a third country (ie mexico) you can go there but you cant bring anything back. No flights go there from the US so you'll have to go to Puerto Rico or somewhere close to get a flight there. No it is not legal for an American to visit Cuba. It is even illegal if you go to another country first to gain entrance to Cuba. |
