Travel Info I went to cuba 6 months ago can i go to America? Travel Tips You can't go to Cuba again, because of a law that was passed a few yers ago by your goverment, however you can go to any other country you want. My aunt, who lives in Miami went to Cuba and the year after that she came to Chile, so no problem. Others Go North are you showing off? When I went to Cuba, the officer at the airport didn't stamp the visa into the passport but on a seperate sheet of paper and just attatched it to the passport. So it could be removed after you leave Cuba again. So nobody can tell you've been to Cuba. Where's the problem? If they stamped your passport in Cuba then you might have problems...try calling the US embassy and asking them. Well I hope to goodness you can, I was in Cuba myself in April last year and had my passport stamped, going to Australia in April this year and doing a stop over in San Francisco on the way back, the travel agent didn't say it would be a problem getting into America because we'd been to Cuba, I think were pretty safe travelling to America on our passports even though we've been to Cuba. I don't see why it would be a problem? I went to Cuba, and went the the US 3 days after I came home. I crossed the border by car though, but I still used my passport. I've also flown to the states since then (again with my passport)... no worries. Why would they care.. unless of course you are an america citizen? Then you weren't suppose to go to Cuba in the first place, no? As a Canadian... I don't think it matters. |
