Here's some info on Iberostar Varadero:

Location:
Directly on the beach of Varadero, set in a natural, tropical landscape. Approx. 18 km from the centre of Varadero. Transfer time from Varadero airport around 45 minutes.

Facilities:
This newly-built, attractive complex (opened in December 2004) has a total of 386 rooms distributed around several three-storey buildings. The following commodities are offered to guests: lobby with reception and bar, 1 buffet restaurant (with show cooking), 3 脿 la carte restaurants (Mediterranean, Japanese and Cuban specialties) and 1 beach restaurant. In the extensive gardens there are 3 swimming pools with children鈥檚 pool and aqua bar. Sun loungers, parasols and towels free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Other facilities include the boutique, souvenir shop and discotheque. Spa with hairdresser鈥檚 and massages as well as Internet access for an extra charge. Miniclub (ages 4-12). Babysitting service for an extra charge. Room Service: from 11.00 pm to 11.00 am. Credit cards: MasterCard, Visa.

Accommodation:
Tastefully-fitted standard rooms or junior suites. All have bathroom, shower, WC, air conditioning, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, minibar and safety deposit box, plus balcony or terrace. The junior suites are somewhat roomier.

All Inclusive:
Full board (buffet). Continental breakfast for late risers from 10 am to 12 noon. Evening meal 脿 la carte with reservation. Palapa Grill for lunch (12 鈥?4 pm) and snacks (4 鈥?6 pm). All local and a selection of international drinks and snacks around the clock (alcoholic drinks available from 9 am to 2 am).

Sports:
Spa with fitness room, Jacuzzi, sauna, aerobics, billiards, table tennis, tennis, volleyball. Pedaloes, kayaks, cycling tours and 鈥?subject to availability 鈥?catamaran sailing, windsurfing and snorkeling equipment free of charge. Nearby water skiing, riding, bowling and 18-hole golf course for an extra charge.
Entertainment:
Varied entertainment during the day. Shows and live music in the evenings. Dance classes.

Iberostar Varadero, opened in late 2004.
