Occidental Grand Playa Turquesa , Holguin, Guardalavaca? |
Travel Info Has anyone stayed at the above hotel? Any information on same( real ones not website ones) We are frequent travellers to the carribean and yep tripadviser is one of the websites we use! (I am re asking this question as I chose the wrong answer last time.....Its CUBA I am looking for details on Doh!!!) Travel Tips Sorry, as an American I cannot go to Cuba. I do know the climate is great. Others I stayed in the hotel Playa Pesquero which is just down the road from the Occidental. We did not visit that hotel but we did speak to people who were staying there, they said the beach could have been better and the food wasn't great but apart from that it was fine. However, the Playa Pesquero is amazing if you want to look at that one. The japanese restaurant is awesome and it is the best beach I have ever seen, the snorkelling is good with some really weird fish so close to the shore. Would definately recommend the area in general anyway. I have stayed at Guardalavaca, Cuba, however at a different hotel. It's very beautiful there, and the beaches are amazing!!! The people there are very nice, however, locals do hang out on the beaches. There is not much to do in this area, as it's about an hour from the airport. You pretty much stay on your resort. But, still beautiful! |
