How much do you tip in denmark?

Travel Tips
Be careful tipping in Denmark. You might offend the one you want to tip (although waiters etc. will forgive you because you are a stranger). Tipping is generally considered begging in Denmark.
If you want to do something, you can "round up" your bill. Let us say, the bill is 285, you pay 290 or 300 and say: "keep the rest". That's good in restaurants, cafes, taxis etc. But nobody will be offended if you don't do that.
In short: Tipping is including in prices. Source(s): Decades of living in Denmark :-)

Other Travel Tips
Tips are typically included on your bill but I still tipped above the included amount (American habit!) especially if the service was good. Same for cab drivers ...

FYI: Be careful when using coin Kroners to tip - you might offend someone without knowing it. :o)
