How do you get from Denmark to England Cheaply without flying? |
Travel Info Hello, I would like get from anywhere in Denmark to anywhere in England. I don't mind how long it takes, or how far in advance you have to book, but I don't want to fly there, and I'd rather keep the cost of travelling as low as possible. Any tips? Travel Tips The answer above me (Trevors answer) is good. I have taken that ferry before, and it is a nice way to travel. You have a place to sleep, and there are a lot to do on the ferry. Also you can get connected to the ferry station in Esbjerg from any train station in Denmark. Have a look on www.dsb.dk for trains to Esbjerg. And when you land in England, you can take the train to London. You can also take a bus through eurolines http://www.eurolines.com for 699 Danish Kroner. I have done that before, and it is not comfortable at all - I hate sitting up and sleeping. It drives through Amsterdam, and it includes a short ferry trip to England from France (if I remember correctly). Source(s): http://www.eurolines.com www.dsb.dk Other Travel Tips Swim Can you swim? Breaststroke. Happy landings! they have a ferry i am afraid there are no lo-cost ferry and train companies - just lo-cost air. So cheap is not an option. Although i did do it a while back (but in reverse); ferry from hull to sweden - ferry from sweden to copenhagen - cost a fortune (but i did not pay for it!!) |
