Can anyone recommend a cheap hotel in Denmark? |
Travel Info any other tips on keeping Denmark cheap are helpful. I am traveling with a senior citizen so hostels are out but we are on a limited budget and Denmark is pretty expensive. Travel Tips If mobility is an issue, then choose wisely, as most inexpensive hotels (and probably all B&Bs or private rooms) do NOT have elevators. I have stayed at Zleep Airport Hotel in Tarnby. I was just by there yesterday and noticed they're advertising rooms from 499 DKK, but you might do better with a booking site like http://www.ratestogo.com or http://www.venere.com A train stop is about 300m away, with elevator down to platform level, and journey to central Copenhagen takes about 11 minutes. (Trains there run every 10 minutes during peak times; every 20 during off-peak). Cab Inn City, which someone else also suggested, would also be a good choice. Source(s): http://www.zleep.dk Other Travel Tips You might still want to look for a hostel they are not so bad. They are the most economic way to travel in Europe. (Just don't watch that movie "hostel" it will scare the heck out of you! it is quite important where in denmark you plan to stay - because prices can vary and they are higher the closer you get to big cities, esp. copenhagen so if you can be a bit more precise about your derstination i might be able to help you ... in the mean time check out http://www.aok.dk http://www.hotel.dk/ http://www.hotels-in-denmark.dk/... You are right, hotels in Denmark are expensive. The best accommodation i can recommend would be, B&B's. There are many B&B's around with vary rate. Check this site up: www.bbdk.dk and choose your destination. Hope you find it helpful. This one can be cheap: www.cabinn.com/UK/index.htm Hi there! We have used this website whenever we visit Copenhagen, they have a good variety on hotels all over europe, best thing is the always have a "last minute" deal section wer u can actually get to book a rather nice hotel with a lower budget.U can try it there. But to begin with, u need to know where exactly u wud wanna be staying in Copenhagen itself. Is there a specific location that u wud wanna be?Østerport?Fredriksberg?Nyha... is a hotel thats close to a train station in 脴sterport, its called Comfort Hotel,if ure takin a train from the airport,u can stop at 脴sterport station and all u need to do is just to go up the escalators, and walk across the street and tadaaaa..there it is,Comfort Hotel. Also the bus stop into town isnt far away, its right beside the 脴sterport train station. So its a rather convenient place to stay& u wudnt need to spend $$ on taxi's as they are rather pricey. It doesnt cost as much as living in the centrum itself. And u can use the train/buses ( opposite the hotel ) to access anywhere in copenhagen.Easy as A,B,C.Good Luck! |
