Unfortunately, with the tensions we have about terrorism, people from some countries will get scrutinized more thoroughly than others. When I was engaged to a white guy from Canada, it took less than a year to get immigration papers... but I had a friend from work who was trying to get her middle-eastern fiance into the country and spent years going back and forth with immigration. I'm sorry that's not more of a definite answer, but each case is scrutinized differently, despite what they tell you about "not profiling" people, but they do. Others if it is immigration that you are talking about. If you sponsor your brothers and siters in the US for immigration it usually takes like 20 years before they are here in usa about5yrs i would say |
