Looking for a quaint hotel/motel in or near augres/oscoda mi.? |
Travel Info I am looking for accommadations near Oscoda Mi. can you help me? Check in would be 7/15/06 check out would be7/16/06 Travel Tips Try the Redwood Lodge which is on US 23 just a few miles south of Oscoda. My grandparents used to live just north of Oscoda in the Lakewood Shores community. I would usually stay with my grandparents but my parents ALWAYS stayed here because it was the nicest place around at the time (I haven't been up there in about 7 years). The hotel/resort offers both private cabins on Lake Huron and the more traditional hotel rooms; I remember the hotel also had a nice indoor pool, etc. In either Tawas or East Tawas is a Holiday Inn which is also nice from what I remember. It is newer/larger than the Redwood if the Redwood doesn't suit/interest you. Most everything else up from Au Gres to Oscoda that I can remember are either more cottages and/or smaller lake front hotels. Source(s): http://www.redwoodmotorlodge.com/... Quiet location. Check it out on line. Americinn AAA will get you a discount you have to call get the number online. |
