Has anyone been on the Princess Boat in Detroit, Mi? |
Travel Info The commercial advertise them having music, dancing and buffet-style meals-----How was it? Travel Tips Its off the hook. go with a date on the midnight cruise for 30.00 for you can go for lunch or dinner for about 40.00 but it is better at night. Others Are you talking about the Michigan Princess Riverboat? If so, it's nice. Good food, roomy. You will have a good time! Alot of our area high schools have prom there. But it's not in Detroit. It's in the Lansing Michigan area, and cruises the Grand River mostly. http://www.michiganprincess.com/... I haven't been on it myself, but I have heard it is very nice. They also have a website with a lot of good info... http://www.detroitprincess.com/... There is a princess boat on the Detroit river, about a half a mile from the Renaissance Center. It is always has people going on it. I do not know about the food though. :( Excellent attraction to visit I've been on it on many occasions, it used to be the Boblo boat before 1995 that's when the island was closed. I have been on it several times... great time! It gives you a really unique prospective of the city - it looks beautiful. They have dinner cruises with music, twilight cruises with a DJ and buffet, theme cruises and private events. http://www.detroitprincess.com It is actually an old casino boat that was driven up from Mississippi (I believe). |
