Travel Info Do you know where there are any good tubing rivers in Southern, Michigan? Travel Tips Three Rivers. That area has some good areas to go rafting, tubing, kayaking etc.... I'm from there, I remember riding innertubes down the St. Joe & Rocky rivers many a time. & it's right off of 131 so it's easy access too. Source(s): http://www.rivercountry.com/ http://www.wmich.edu/glcms/watertrails/... Other Travel Tips Southern Michigan really doesn't have much that I would tube in. Most of South East Michigan is all urban sprawl. I would travel to the middle of the state to hit the Au Sable or Rifle rivers for tubing. The Au Sable river is great for tubing, and is pretty cost effective as well, the is also a place on the rifle river called Whites or something like that, that is a great place to tube, we have gone for the last 3 years and we always have a blast, just remember to bring your water cannons, and guns, there will lots of water wars!! What do you mean by "Southern, Michigan"? Is Newaygo, Michigan (about 30 miles north of Grand Rapids) south enough for you? If so, the Muskegon River has excellent tubing. Head to Wisner Canoe Rental (they also rent tubes) in Newaygo. http://www.wisnercanoes.com/ http://www.wisnercanoes.com/boats.html#t... http://www.michigan.org/travel/detail.as... |
