Travel Info If so how was it, I'm planning a trip in Oct. Travel Tips I was there in June of 2005. I have travelled to many islands and many countries, this was just a quick planned weekend trip my husband and I took with some friends before our wedding. I wasn't that impressed with the island overall. I have been to cleaner places in Mexico for a lot less money! The water wasn't that great, no good snorkeling even. We spent two full days deep sea fishing and never even got a bite! If you are the type who just wants to lay out by a pool or beach, you should be fine.
