Travel Info Is there still a non-stop high-speed train from London to Edinburgh & if so how do I find it on the web? Travel Tips The Flying Scotsman is 4 1/2 hours and the Caledonian Sleeper goes overnight and Virgin trains operate one also. Source(s): http://www.firstgroup.com/scotrail/conte... http://www.gner.co.uk/gner/destinations/... Other Travel Tips Here's some info on rail services in Europe: http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-2001207-1041... http://www.hotelsbyrating.com and Rail Europe There are no non-stop trains unless you count the caledonian sleeper (which does stop, but you're asleep so it doesn't count). Fastest is GNER from Kings Cross. www.qjump.co.uk but book ahead or they'll rip you off there r trains....look 4 virgin railways.it may help. GNER operates the fastest rail service from London to Edinburgh. You can search for train times on www.nationalrail.co.uk and make bookings on that website as well. There are no longer any three hour train journeys between the two cities; the average train time for this trip is now 4 hours and 20 minutes with GNER. For most (>80%) journeys there are several stops, but no changes. |
