1)Are Travellers to Canada excused if they violate a regulation because their own laws are different and they can鈥檛 know all the new laws while visiting on a vacation?
2) Does every Canadian motorist must have liability insurance?

1) NO there are no special laws for tourists in Canada. Common law governs residents as well as visitors.
2) All motorized vehicles in Canada require liability insurance. If stopped and you are unable to supply proof you will be charged.

in any country in the world you must abide by that countries rules...ignorance of the law is no excuse..and yes you must have liability insurance
