Travel Info is it worth a detour on my way from Dublin to Cork? Travel Tips Connemara is an area of scenic beauty, Aran islands have a prehistoric fort on them Others good people beautiful scenery If you are there the last 2 weeks in July there is the countries best arts festival.Check it out at the Galway website.I plan to visit the Kylemore Abbey. My son and his wife gave me an print of it. I want to have my picture taken there and hang it up next to the print and say,"I was there!" There is also a wonderful Nature Preserve/ National Park I plan to see. Modified 1 year ago OH Definitely ! Much better than Cork ! Very beautiful, lively, charming people, lots to see around....... If you go down to Spiddle (forgot the spelling) which is not far : you will also hear real gaelic spoken in the street ! |
