Travel Info Sorry if this sounds dumb, but is it East/West, North or South and what is there to do there? Travel Tips Its the west coast of the country about halfway down. It has spectacular scenery around connemara and the city is the best in Ireland, with a really cool scene. Modified 1 year ago It's West, midway through the country. It's by the sea so as far west as you can go. There's the Galway races in August I think, there's usually a great buzz during that time.
