Karachi is more the commercial capital of Pakistan so not as much to do for a tourist. It does have some bazaars and nice views of the sea, but it does suffer from sectarian violence so not really advisable unless you have a reason to be in Karachi. There's more security on the streets and hotels in Karachi than probably anywhere else in Pakistan.
