Where is the cheapest place in Europe to fly into (from the US)?

Travel Info
I plan on touring most of Europe by train and I'd just like to work out where the cheapest city to fly into is -- a main hub or a small city, it doesn't matter!

Travel Tips
London is generally the cheapest location to fly to--though deals can be found to many European cities.

A good resource for finding fares by location is Travelocity's "Dream Maps" in which you can select your US location and then view a map showing fares to cities throughout the world.

Give it a try:

Other Travel Tips
When we've done this, we've always used a major city (London, Paris or Munich) as a hub and flown around using one of the low-cost airlines (once got a 19 euro one-way flight from Paris to Nice) like easyJet, Sterling or RyanAir. You can also start your driving tour from there.
