Have you ever been in finland? What are ure impressions?

Travel Info
I want to go there next summer to whatch the lights from the north!

Travel Tips
I went to Finland back in '99 I think it was. It's a great country. Most of the people speak some English. The countryside is beautiful. The food... well I was a vegetarian at the time so I can't really comment on that. Although I do know some people who wouldn't eat the makkara, which is Finnish sausage. I think it's a great place to visit, but you'll want to wait until Spring comes cuz it's COLD right now.

omg omg i live in finland... well sure you can come here... it's beutiful... I mean the nature... but i really hate it here (sorry) yeah come it's a nice experience!!!
If you mean the Nordic lights aka Aurora Borealis,
you'd have to go in mid-winter and to the Lapland.
The lights are visible in the southern parts too,
but very dimply and only in green.
Up north it's a phenomenon with multiple colours in the middle of darkness and quiet nature.

If instead you'd like to see the nightless night, travel in June-early August. Especially the Midsummer-time and early July are best times for that experience - it REALLY doesn't get dark.
