When is the best time of year to visit Croatia? |
Travel Info I'm thinking about a trip to Croatia, and would like to know when the best time to visit is (nice, warm weather) and if anyone can reccomend a place to stay along the Dalmation Coast? Travel Tips Best time is September, warm weather, water is warm and there are not too many tourists around. June through August tend to be hotter and with tons of tourists. Go to any place (town) you want on the coast and just ask around. There are always people renting rooms for a good price. Everyone goes to Dubrovnik, but Hvar, Brac, Korcula, Istria, Mljet are also amazing . Others I am visiting Croatia this coming summer. Everyone I have talked to there said late may is the best time, so I have planned my trip for then. Good luck! i agree.... anytime from july - september is a great time to visit croatia. i suggest visiting the islands, too. i live there for 12 years so i should know. :-) |
