Travel Tips Prahova is a county (jude牛) in the Center-South of Romania, in the North of the Wallachia region, with the capital city at Ploie艧ti (population: 253,068). The main turistical destinations are: On the Prahova valley: The Sinaia Resort. The Bu艧teni Resort. The Azuga Resort. The Bucegi Mountains. On the Teleaj膬n River Valley: The V膬lenii de Munte Resort. Cheia. Sl膬nic. The Z膬ganul Mountains The Ciuca艧 Mountains. On the Doftana River Valley: The Teleaga Resort. Valea Doftanei. The G芒rbova Mountains. The city of Ploie艧ti. Other Travel Tips Here are a few sites you can check out: http://www.sunswap.com/preview.html... http://europa.eu.int/youth/national_page... http://www.homeforexchange.com/... Happy traveling!! well if you would like to spend it on seaside i could give ya some info... but in rest... it most depends of how much are you willing to stay... i suggest as palces...: Bucuresti(capital), Constanta(seaside), Cluj-Napoca(nord-heart), Brasov(mountains)... anyway... i suggest all country... but depends what you wish for... and how much will you stay... if you really are going to travel in Romania, add me on yahoo 360, and i will guide you with info... (even suggest gay friends you may meet)... If you're into the mountains, try the mountain resorts Sinaia, Predeal, Poiana Brasov, Poiana Tapului, etc (they are located on the route Bucharest-Ploiesti-Brasov). The mountains are magnificent (and the Count Dracula's Castle is near). If you like the seaside, the best place to go is Mamaia resort, near Constanta. You could also visit the ruins of the ancient cities. If you love the wildness, go to Danube Delta - you could't imagine the number of fish based foods - plus is so incredible inexpensive. If you love history, go to Sighisoara (Transylvania) or visit the Painted Monasteries of Northern Moldavia. There are so many other places to go, you won't regret it. If you're into rural tourism, Transylvania is the first place to go; nonetheless, the Romanian people are welcoming hosts for everybody. Modified 1 year ago |
