Is it cheaper to buy things (e.g. dvds, cds and books) from france?

Travel Tips
I've been living in the U.S. for the last year and have found DVDs, CDs, and books to be much, much cheaper in the US than in France.

Others
Usually not, although it depends on what you want. Also, keep in mind that DVDs will be encoded with Region Code 2. Then there's shipping, and taxes. Usually consumer goods such as these are cheaper in the US.

It won't because Euro is a stronger currency unit than dollar (1鈧?= approx 1.22$)
