Where should I go in France? |
Travel Info I have the opportunity to go to France for two months. I don't speak French. What city would you recommend. I'm young I love the beach, shopping, meeting new people, and cities where there is something to do day/night. Where should I go? Paris, Marseilles, Nice, Strasbourg, Bordeaux, Lyon, Versailles, Antibes, Cannes, Toulouse, Dijon, Brest, Lille, Monaco, Perpignan, St. Jean de Luz, Hossegor, Canet, St. Tropez, Aix-en-Provence, Chamonix, Monte Carlo?? Other cities? Travel Tips hi i advise you toulouse! my town! but i live in paris. you should stay in paris for 3 days. then go straight to the south toulouse is nice, an old and pretty town, very lively with a lot of students. The area is very nice also, don't miss the carcassonne castle, you will learn about the cathare history and further in the land, you will discover very nice vineyards, as pretty as toscane with lots of medieval castles. saint jean de luz is wonderful, once you"re there, go to biarritz, the atlantic coast is gorgious. mediterann茅e? try montpellier, and all the more touristic towns if you want like st tropez (i don't adive you cannes at all, it's ugly) if tou go to france around christams then go to the north east in towns like strasbourg, the Xmas markets are really nice Others Don't go to the island of Penis in the Pacific Islands You should go to that place where the alligators dance!! oh how I crack myself up sometimes!! go to le havre, nice, anywhere they speak english, Paris is overrated, but north orsouth you will find it nice :) i've been in strassbourg once and i loved the city. it's far from the beach, but it's near germany and switzerland, and there is a thing in that region that allows you to pay very few for train tickets inside certain limits, so you can visit the other countried on free time without spending too much. i was living in freiburg, in the german side, and that's how i went to strassbourg and colmar in france and bassel in switzerland, paying less than 10 euros for each trip. the cities on the area are kind of small, in a countryside way, but they are lovely, and they have all that architecture and history, without lacking on the fun side (freiburg at least had great clubs and a different party every night, plus movie theaters, theater, concerts...) definetely monte Carlo and paris |
