Any travel tips for Cannes?

I will be there over the weekend so any recommendations for things to do would be great!

Which weekend? Right away? It is a sleepy little city in the fall. Walking along tht croisette and looking at the bay is the main activity. Lots of seafood restauarants. Take a trip to Grasse to see the perfume factories, to St. Paul de Vence for Maeght Museum and others, to Nice and the Matisse museum in the ancient Roman suburb of Cimiez. If you haven't booked hotel, try Hotel des Orangiers on the hill above the 12th century church.
